A little while back one of writers covered a rock festival in the Welsh valley town of Cwmaman. There he discovered the metal band Hunted and he was blown away. We then received an invite to see the band play a gig in Cardiff's Welsh Club, so after the recommendation Dai gave them I packed up my camera and went a long to take a look.

It's fair to say I am a bit of a rock fan but never really been a metal head so I wasn't expecting to enjoy myself as I had figured I would be in for a night of music too loud, screaming down microphones and way too much hair flying around.  Well there was a little too much hair being thrown around and made it a little harder than normal to take photographs, but I was wrong about the screaming and it being too loud!

These five guys gave an awesome set. Opening the night with a song called "Chosen" it wasn't long before I was distracted from taking photos and was taking the bands first offering of the night. Clearly these guys are totally into what they are doing and dedicated to their music. Great lead and rhythm guitar strumming from Dave Edwards and Steve Barberini, we then have the devilish Jon Letson on bass, keeping them all in time together was Adam Gregory on drums and last but by no means least the powerful and haunting vocals of (the man with the longest hair I've ever met) Chris G.

It didn't take long for the boys to get the audience on their side and the crowd were throwing their hair around along with the band. We were given a set of around 8 tracks if I remember correctly with songs with titles like "Silence of Minds", "Tomorrow Fades" and finally finishing the show with "Forgotten Shadows".

Since we started the site in all the years I've been going to gigs you find a lot of people playing at being rock stars. These guys aren't playing at it they are doing it! With the enthusiasm and dedication these guys have I feel it's only a matter of time before they are a name we'll be seeing in the rock and metal charts.
