Goldblade – Mutiny

If you’re not aware of Goldblade you’ve probably seen singer John Robb on numerous top 100 programmes (the northern guy with the flat-top) and when he’s not on TV he’s journalist, author and singer for Goldblade.

I’ve seen these play many times, most recently was this year rebellion festival in Blackpool and they were awesome as always.  Goldblade play anthemic, catchy street punk that can get anyone into the pit. 

Mutiny is a killer album with each song more anthemic than the next, this is nothing new or ground breaking just good ol’ punk rock in the vein of Rancid or Oxymoron.  I would like to say what the stand out tracks are on this but there’s too many so checkout their myspace (www.myspace.com/goldblade or www.goldblade.com).

If you’re into punk new or old, get this album!
