Your brilliance creates shadows that I hide in

away from the eyes of the crowds

You see me hiding in darkness 

your piercing gaze impales my soul

For the briefest of moments I shine with you

our legs and our tongues entwined

A rhythm as strong as our heartbeats

we move together as one

Such beauty is finite and fleeting

You drift away with the tide

The shadows you cast grow longer

I am frozen, suspended in time.
