Crank, well what can I say about Crank, hmmm... Well, Chev Chalios (Jason Statham), your local, friendly hired assassin, wakes up to discover that he has been injected with a synthetic drug that is poisoning his system. Now, upon waking to find he will die very shortly, he does what anyone would do, he tries to track down the person who injected him to exact his revenge!

During his expedition, he learns that if his heart rate falls below a certain point he will fall into a coma and die so he makes his search as adrenalin filled as possible by driving his car through a busy shopping centre, raging through a hospital in search of a synthetic adrenalin, stealing a police motorcycle from a policeman on the beat and, my personal favourite, having sex with his girlfriend, Eve (Amy Smart) in front of Joe public in a Chinatown market, a live porn show that all the family can enjoy. During all this he stops only to kill a few people whilst on the hunt for Verona, (Jose Pablo Cantillo) the person who injected him.   All this is helped along with a rip roaring, fast paced, rocking soundtrack.

We reach the climax of our blood filled spree on the roof of a hotel and after such scintillating dialogue between Chalios & Verona, everyone pulls out their guns and try to shoot each other, but wait, what is an action film without a "fighting in helicopter above city scene" yes you have guessed it we have one!  Well this then brings us to the end of the film and the only real ending that they could have, for which you will actually have to watch the film. 

Crank is worth seeing for the comedic value alone but if you want a real reason to watch it, boys there is a lot of violence and a sex scene. Girls, Jason Statham is quite fit... and what other reason do you need?
